Recent India Trip

Tuesday, April 15th, 2008

Back in March, four young men from America came to India for approximately 10 days.  All of them are good friends with a burden and zeal for winning souls.  Josh Wilson, Nick DeCicco, Simon King, and Aaron Wright came to India and preached youth meetings, church services, and gave out clothes to the needy in rural villages.  The people were very receptive and excited that they came.  We can’t wait until they come again!

We love you all and thank you for your sacrifice!

Waiting to leave

A New Year Has Come

Monday, February 18th, 2008

Well, 2008 has started, and we’re already almost finished with February.  Time sure does seem to fly!  Keep us in your prayers as 2008 will definitely be a busy year.  Just before Easter there will be a Harvest Reapers Conference held in Kerala.  Pray that people will be excited about the work of God there!  Shortly after, Jeremy will be going on deputation in America for four months.  After deputation, he then has a meeting for the All India Oneness Fellowship that will be held in Chennai.  Then, he will be starting on the third consecutive year of English Bible Training Center.  My, how God has blessed in such a short time!

Jeremy just returned from Myanmar where 27 were baptized in Jesus’ name.  Glory to God!  Keep this country in your prayers.

 Let’s pray for worldwide harvest!

English Bible Training Centre

Sunday, November 25th, 2007

By the grace of God, and the help of our brothers and sisters of the Mizoram UPC, we have been able to start an English Bible Training Centre, EBTC, in Mizoram.  Two thousand and seven marks the second year that we have had classes.

This year we had 13 first-year students and 15 second-year students.  There were students from 4 states in India: Assam, Tripura, Mizoram, and Manipur.  We even had students from the neighboring country of Burma (Myanmar).  We had class from 9:00-12:30 and 2:00-4:00 every day.  Each weekend we traveled to various churches and conferences ministering in Word and in song.  Along with all of this, we published our first annual magazine and made a gospel album!  What a busy year it has been!

Graduation day took place on November 22, 2007.  We had 15 students graduate from the two-year course.  Everyone worked very hard and it was a close race in class rank.  We are very proud of all of them for their diligence and dedication to study and learn the Word of God.  A hearty congratulations goes out to all of them.

The driving force behind EBTC is souls.  People are dying every day, and it is our job to try and reach them before it is too late.  EBTC will be a birth place for missionaries.  It will be a place that will instill desire and zeal in the hearts of those who attend.  We can see the fruits of this as many of the students have already went out to preach revivals and are going on missionary journeys, not even a week after the sessions have ended!  They have looked on the harvest and seen that it is white and ready.

1 Cor 9:26
I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air

KJV

We know what we are running for.  We know what we are fighting for.  There is one purpose and motivation we have, and that is to see souls saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Keep EBTC in your prayers so we can see God do a work in Asia!

Welcome!
